Juniors may attend if they are in the top half of their class, are on a college track, and are maintaining an A- or above GPA.
These are program minimums. These scores do not guarantee admission to TAMU. Space is limited. Those wishing to participate in the program should apply early.
Do you meet the program requirements?
If you are a senior in high school and do not meet our program requirements, but do meet the minimum requirements to attend Texas A&M; your chances of admission are very low.
TAMU admits a large number of college transfer students each semester. To be considered for transfer admission to Texas A&M, you must have at least a 2.5 GPA on a minimum of 24 hours of graded, transferable coursework. A large number of transfer students join the Corps each semester. Transfer cadets who can graduate from TAMU in three years or less have the option to join one of our transfer outfits. They complete one semester in the Corps as a freshman and then skip semesters to join their graduating class. All transfer cadets also have the option to join any outfit and complete the normal four year cadet program.
Are you a high school senior and would you be willing to consider the TAMU Transfer Admission Program if not directly admitted to Texas A&M-College Station?
